The We Asked, You Said, We Did page lets you publish a summary of what was asked, what respondents said, and what action you are taking as a result. This content appears publicly on the consultation's page once it is published, giving respondents a clear and transparent account of the outcome.
Note: This content is only visible to the public once you have clicked Publish Results. You can prepare and save it before the consultation closes, but it will not appear on the public-facing page until you publish.
Opening the Page
- Open a consultation from the Consultations index.
- Click the We Asked, You Said, We Did tab in the consultation header.

Completing the Three Sections
The page contains three sections, each with a rich text editor:
- We Asked: describe the question or issue you put to respondents.
- You Said: summarise what respondents told you.
- We Did: explain what action you took or plan to take as a result.
Each section supports formatting, links, lists, and other rich text options. Click Save when you have finished to store your changes.
Note: If the consultation has not yet closed, an information banner reminds you that this content will only become visible to the public once the consultation ends and you have published the results.
Publishing the Results
Once the consultation has closed, the Publish Results button appears in the consultation header.
- Click Publish Results.
- A confirmation prompt appears. Click Yes, Continue to proceed.
The consultation status changes to Results and the We Asked, You Said, We Did content becomes publicly visible on the consultation page.
Note: Publish Results is only available after the consultation has passed its close date and its status is Closed.
