The Star Rating questions type lets you quickly add an interactive star (or other icon) rating question to your surveys. Respondents can use this question type to rate things on a scale of the survey designer’s choosing, using one of four icons.
Creating Star Rating Questions.
To create your Star Rating question:
- Click Add Question on your survey.
- From the menu, select Star Rating
- Enter your question text in the Question box.
- Choose the size of your scale, from 2 to 10 points.
- Choose which icons you wish to use for the rating – Stars, Thumbs, Smileys, or Hearts.
- Click the green Save Question button to add the question to your survey.
Customising Star Rating Questions
When you build a Star Rating question, you can customise it with the following additional fields and options.

Add Comment Text Box

Adds a free text field underneath the question. Useful if you would like respondents to add comments.

Require an Answer to this Question
|
Forces the respondent to select an answer before they can progress to the next page.
