Increasing Your Account's User Allowance

Business and Pro Account Users

If you are on a Pro or Business Individual account and you wish to start using SmartSurvey as a team, then you will need to upgrade to a Business Teams account. You can find out more about how to do this in the guide Changing your Paid Plan.

By default, Business Teams plans come with 3 users, and you can use the slider on the “Choose Plan” page, and the drop-down on the following page to confirm the number of users you want.

Because this will count as “Changing to a higher plan”, all the usual conditions relating to payment term and billing dates will apply. See Changing Your Paid Plan for more details.

Business Teams Users

Business Teams users can add extra users, up to 10,  to their plans without needing to raise a support ticket. Adding users is done in much the same way as upgrading to a different paid plan.

  1. From anywhere in your account, access My Account, then Billing.
  2. On this page you will see your currently selected plan and payment details. Click “Change Plan” to change your plan. You’ll be taken to the Pricing and Plans page.
  3. On the Pricing and Plan Page, you will see “Edit Current Plan” as the button in the Business column. Click this to edit the plan.
  4. On the payment page, you can use the drop-down to select how many additional uisers you want to add to the plan.

Unlike changing to a higher plan, when you add extra users to an account, the billing date will not be changed. Instead, the cost of the initial upgrade will be pro-rated based on the length of time between the purchase date and the next billing date.

Enterprise users and Business Teams users who want to add more than 10 users

Account holders on Enterprise plans, or those on Business Team plans who want more than ten users, should contact us either by raising a support ticket or contacting their account manager directly.
