Custom Question Numbering

By default, to make it easier when creating surveys SmartSurvey will automatically number your questions. However if you want to group more than one question together, you can change the default numbering system within SmartSurvey. For example, you could add alphabetical labels to each sub-question, so that they read 1a, 1b, 1c and so on.

To add your own numbering system, first make sure the default question numbers are hidden.

Customising Question Numbers

To customise your question numbers:

1. Click Edit Question on the right hand vertical menu of a question.
2. Under Question Text, type your preferred numbering at the beginning of the question.
3. Click Save Question.

Repeat steps 1-3 for all questions in your survey.
