Linking to an external URL as part of the question content is quite easy.
Linking to an external URL in a Question
- In the survey, click Add Question , select the Question Type and write your question text in the "Question" box, including any text that you want to use as the hyperlink.
- Highlight the word or words you want to use as a link and click the Link icon (marked in red below) in the editor toolbar. This will bring up a pop-up window
- Paste the URL that you want to link to into the "URL" box.
- Click OK - Your question should now contain a link to the desired location.
- Click Save Question
Linking to a Library File in a Question
Attaching a file within a specific question is basically a specific case of adding a link - you're linking to the File in your Library. If you haven't already done so, it will be necessary to upload your file into the File Library before you can attach it to your survey question. - Paste the URL of the file that you copied into the "URL" box
- Click OK - Your question should now contain a link to the desired file
- Click Save Question
It’s always a good idea to test this functionality with the preview function to ensure the link is behaving as expected
