You can add your own custom CSS and JavaScript to any survey, providing you’ve created a custom theme first. If you’re still using a pre-made theme, you’ll need to create a new custom theme before proceeding.
You can add HTML and JavaScript code to the header and/or footer of your survey, and you can paste in CSS code to change the appearance of your survey.
Creating or editing code by the SmartSurvey team is only possible as part of a specific Custom Development project. Please contact us if you would like to discuss or be quoted for this service.
Adding Custom Code to a Survey
To add or edit your code:
- Select Themes from the Libraries option in the black nav bar
- Hover your mouse over the theme you want to edit and click on Edit Theme
- Under Theme Settings, locate the Settings drop-down menu
- Click HTML & CSS Templates
- Type or paste your code into the fields provided
- Click the green Save Changes button on the left to save your code
