AI Credits

AI Credits are consumed by SmartSurvey's SmartAssist features, namely those that are processing response data to provide insights, analysis and automated responses. 

Depending on your plan, you will be allocated a number of AI Credits as part of your subscription per annum. 

If you run out of credits, you have the option to purchase add-ons to enable you to continue with your analysis and real time reporting within SmartSurvey. 

AI Credits are consumed at account level so all users on your account consume from the same limit. 

How are AI Credits consumed

Currently, we have one feature that consumes AI Credits. This is our AutoCategorise feature which provides automatic categorisation of responses. 

1 Credit = Processing of a question on a response for the first time

To keep things simple, we only consume credits the first time the response is processed. If you toggle the feature on/off or refresh your categorisation, no further credits are consumed. 

Sentiment Analysis does not consume credits. 

Viewing your Usage

You can view your accounts usage from your Account usage pages. Here you'll see a breakdown of number of credits available, 30 days usage and a summary of which features have consumed your credits. 

We include a forecast calculator to help you determine how many credits you might need to continue with your analysis as well as a helpful ROI calculator to show you how much you may have saved by automating tasks such as Text Analysis. 

You can set up a custom notification to notify you when you reach a certain amount of remaining AI Credits:

Reaching your AI Credit Limit

When your account meets the AI Credit limit, all AI features will pause until your credits have been topped up or your limit renews. 

As soon as the limit is topped up and renews, the features will re-commence automatically, beginning to process new responses as they are submitted. 

If you have met the credit limit when enabling AutoCategorise on a question, you'll need to go back and refresh your categories to process the responses that were not processed initially. 

Purchasing an Add-on

From your AI Credits usage page, you'll have the option to add more AI credits to your account. This is available to Account Owners only. Sub users on the account will be able to message their Account Owner to request the purchase of additional credits. 

Add-ons are a one off purchase and can be purchased by making a card payment (the quickest way to restart your AI insights!). Your add-on AI credits do not expire. 

For AI Credit purchases of £1,000 and over, please contact Support if you'd prefer to pay by invoice.
