Getting started with dashboards

Dashboards give you a central place to analyse your survey data and monitor incoming responses and key metrics from any survey in your account.

Whether you're running customer experience surveys, employee experience surveys, feedback programmes, or general research projects, dashboards let you visualise your data in the way that works for you, to support analysis and decision making.

Key definitions

  • Dashboard: the user interface giving a visual overview of your account's survey data
  • Tile: a single chart, response list, or block of text within a dashboard
  • Pinning: sending a chart or response list from a survey's results summary onto a dashboard

How to create a dashboard

There are two ways to create a dashboard.

From the Dashboards page Go to Dashboards in the navigation bar on the left of the page. This page lists every dashboard you've created, as well as any dashboards shared with you by other members of your account.

From a results summary Start pinning content from a survey's results summary, and you'll be prompted to create a new dashboard on the fly. See Adding content to your dashboard for the full pinning workflow.

How often does dashboard data refresh?

Data refreshes automatically every 5 minutes. You can see the exact "last refreshed" time in the top left corner of the dashboard.
